ISP Christmas Lunch
Just under 200 people, (including Promo e-News editor, Carole Bull) attended The Institute of Sales Promotion Christmas lunch, which featured Michael Grade, chairman of ITV, as its speaker.
Michael Grade regaled the audience with tales of growing up as a member of the UK's leading theatrical and TV dynasty, before discussing the impact of the current economic climate on marketing and TV in general, and ITV in particular.
The event also saw the presentation of trophies to the UK winners of the Integrated Marketing Communications Council European Awards (see feature on Awards and Trophies) and raised 1,000 for Macmillan Nurses.
