In the news this month, the bpma have announced a new chairwoman. Viv Blumfield has been involved in successful distributor businesses for the last 32 years. She will be continuing the programme of end-user engagement to ensure that marketers appreciate the effectiveness of promotional merchandise in comparison to other forms of marketing. Viv also wants to be confident that the industry really understands what the bpma stands for and what the benefits are of membership for both suppliers and distributors. They will shortly be sending out a survey regarding membership so keep an eye out for that.

Also in the news, Galpeg has extended its successful Associate programme to include a full function, high end support service. The service will allow existing business owners to reduce overhead costs, increase their turnover and run their business less stressfully whilst still retaining the freedom and flexibility of sole ownership.
