This is a good opportunity to partner up with other companies as well, they might give you something free if you can offer some sort of exposure for their brand or product. If you don’t have the capacity, there are companies out there that can organise and fulfil your promotions.

2. Organise community events – A great opportunity to self-promote, establish new relationships & to enhance your profile within the community. If you don’t fancy organising an event, sponsoring a summer event could be the next best thing.

4. Summer offers – offering discounts whilst mentioning summer could see the temperature rise!

5. Summer range! – Launch a new summer range of products & promote them with summery catalogues, flyers, newsletters etc.

Promotional Items – Using giveaway’s such as custom branded beach towels, beach balls & personalised parasols can make you stand out from the crowd, these items are highly practical in the summer & recipients will appreciate such sought-after & desirable products! You could always use branded products for a competition prize.

7. Think Holidays – Ensure you’re busy when others aren’t! School holidays are abundant in the summer & make the most of it! Think family with things like family fun days & cater for all!

8. Social media – grow your social media by posting engaging content related to summer. According to mashable, photos are the most ‘shared’ & ‘liked’ post type on Facebook, so make the most of it!  Whatever you do, make sure your brand is well seen at all times! After all, if you’re going to run a promotion, it’s imperative that you maximise its potential for brand exposure. Get your branding & marketing messages out there & work out what it is you are trying to achieve before you run a promotion!
