The presentation of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Promotional-Merchandise.org.uk Best Website Awards was overseen by the portal's Marketing Manager, Ash Ali, at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition, Olympia, London on 19th April.
The panel of judges for the awards comprised Gail Holm (Event Director, Promotional Marketing Exhibition), Ash Ali (Promotional-Merchandise.org.uk) and Carol Blackford-Mills (MRS Web Solutions) all of whom have many years of experience in the promotional merchandise industry and have developed and worked with hundreds of promotional companies in the online arena.
Speaking of the Awards, Ash Ali of Promotional-Merchandise.org.uk said, "The promotional marketing industry has seen many changes through the internet over past years. Internet investment aids the way we view information, select products and place orders. It was therefore a natural progression to offer a Promo Award for the Best Website within the industry.
"After careful consideration and lots of mouse clicking! 6 finalists were selected. They were www.oldeani.com/healthcare, www.riouk.co.uk, www.leighmans.co.uk, www.My-accessories.co.uk, www.groovychocolate.com, www.lovemyskins.co.uk.
The final websites were of an exceptionally high calibre and offered a variety of promotional gifts. Each website was assessed on compatibility, completeness, content, graphics, interactivity, links, speed, navigation, search engine optimisation, style and usability."
The Gold Award was presented by Gail Holm, Event Director, Promotional Marketing Exhibition to Malcolm Fritschy of Oldeani for the company's Healthcare website www.oldeani.com/healthcare
