BPMA and Trade Only announce agreement for 2016 show

The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) and Trade Only Limited have announced a revised continuation of their existing co-operative agreement for the 2016 edition of the BPMA Education Day and The Trade Only National Show.

The new one year agreement, with annual review, includes on-going support from Trade Only for the BPMA Education Day on the day prior to the Trade Only National Show and BPMA support and a continuation of their exhibitor pavilion at the Show.

Matt Franks, chairman of BPMA, commented: “We are pleased to continue a strong working relationship with the Trade Only team, committing to run the 2016 Education Day alongside the Trade Only Show. This helps us reach the largest number of people within the UK promotional merchandise industry, under one roof at a great event."

Vicky Robinson, managing director of Trade Only, said: “We are delighted to be working closely with the BPMA again for the Trade Only National Show and their Education Day. We believe all suppliers and all distributors, no matter how big or how small they are, should be able to visit our show and have access to great industry education. Combine this all-encompassing show with the excellent Education Day and we have a great partnership.”

Nigel Bailey, event director for the show, added: “The BPMA Pavilion at the Trade Only National Show has allowed us to bring an exciting new element to the exhibition over the years and I am delighted that this will continue into what will be our 10th and most exciting show so far. The announcement that BPMA will be hosting their Education Day in Coventry and running it in tandem with their Education Programme is very important in the push to professionalising our industry. We fully support this and are as always happy to invest substantial funds into a programme that we trust will benefit the industry as a whole.”

The Trade Only National Show, now in it's ninth year, will be held on January 21st and 22nd at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The show is widely recognised as the biggest and best event in the promotional merchandise industry, with hundreds of suppliers exhibiting and thousands of visitors expected through the doors each day. The 2014 show achieved an amazing 100% visitor satisfaction rating and 100% of visitors said they are likely to attend in 2015.

The 2015 BPMA Education Day will be held on 20th January in Arena Lounge One and is open to both bpma and non bpma members. The Education Day will comprise of 11 seminars covering a wide range of topics. All seminars will be delivered by credible, professional speakers who are experts in their fields.

More than 5,000 delegates are expected to benefit from meeting quality suppliers, enjoying educational sessions and being part of the largest promotional products award gala in the world.
