Digital Camera's, DVD's and Mobile Communications

In last month's feature we covered high tech gadgets of the smaller variety (iPods, clocks, picture frames, etc.) and the astute amongst you will have sensed that high tech is not really my thing. So, it's a sign of my dedication to duty that this month I am tackling cameras, mobile phones and DVDs.

Just to show I'm not completely technophobic, I do have and use a digital camera, but I also still like my film camera – at least I get a reassuring click when I take a pic, so I know I have captured the moment! In the interests of research, I've learned to programme the DVD and I'm pretty good with mobile phones and, like most people, always eager for the next upgrade.

This eagerness to have the latest technology is one reason why cameras, DVD's and mobile phones and accessories make great promotional products, motivational or reward items. Everyone welcomes the latest technology, but would not necessarily spend their own, hard earned cash to get it.

Sony has recently launched the DSC-W80, which has a high definition feature. The camera can be connected via an optional adapter cable to a compatible TV enabling the user to see their images in High Definition. Add to this a specification which includes 7.2 megapixels, 3 x Optical Zoom and a large 2.5" LCD Screen and the result is a well rounded camera to meet the needs of a multitude of purposes.

So, there's a camera to suit every budget and promotion.
