Entries are in for the BPMA Student Innovation Design Awards

Posted in Industry News on Fri 16 May 2014

The BPMA Student Design Innovation Awards is the only designated competition that allows students to use their imagination and skill to create new and exciting Promotional Products of the future.

Students at Brunel and Plymouth University have now submitted their final entries. There will be two judging sessions, the first on the 5th June and the second on the 11th June. Gordon Glenister, Director General of the BPMA and sponsors Stephen Barker of B&H Colour Change, Diane Anderton and Sofia Montero of SPS, Bilal Hussain of Alvastone, and Lisa Chola and Peter Townsend of Promo International will be combing through the designs, searching for the most motivational and inspiring entries.

The competition, now in its third year, invites talented, UK based undergraduate design students to come up with exciting, inspiring, truly original new product ideas for promotional merchandise. Finalists in the competition be invited to a personal tour of the 3M Innovation Centre in Bracknell, and a chance to see how ideas are developed and brought to market in a commercial context. They will also briefly present their design panels to the judges who will make their final choices.

All the entries including the winner will be featured at stand D101 in the Personality Zone at Marketing Week Live, which is taking place on the 25th and 26th of June at the Kensington Olympia.
