Top 10 Tips on Selecting Awards

By Paul Bonning, Managing Director, Crystal Impressions, a leading manufacturer of 3D laser engraved crystal glass, and also acrylic and metal awards and business gifts.
Think about the recipient – what would they like to receive? Select an award that is appropriate for them.
What do you want the award to convey about you or your company as a 'giver'? Choosing a cheap trophy may backfire, whereas a quality award will say much more about the giver and be appreciated and valued more by the recipient.
The Budget – how much have you got to spend? This will narrow your search. How many awards do you require?
Do you want a token award or a substantial one?
Do you want the award to remain at work or be taken home?
Do you want a glass, metal, acrylic or resin award?
What type of award is it: –
Performance Award
Recognition Award
Retirement Award
Long Service Award
Commemorative Award
Do you want an 'off the shelf' award with surface engraving, or do you want a bespoke piece commissioned specially for you?
If you choose a crystal award, do you want deep internal lasering of crystal shape, whereby you can laser engrave a logo or a product image or anything you choose internally in full 3D in the crystal with stunning results. There are literally hundreds of different shapes and sizes to choose from and crystal products are very much in vogue as the preferred awards at the moment.
Metal, resin or acrylic awards can also be produced and these are bespoke pieces made to your specific requirements.
