A New Focus for Promotional-Merchandise.org.uk

As we reported earlier this month, there have been some changes at Promotional Merchandise. Firstly, Carole Bull will no longer be writing the news for us. Carole has been our Editor for five years and has done an amazing job; helping us to achieve recognition within the industry with her features, interviews and top tips. We are very sorry to lose her expertise and wish her well for the future.

As many of you who visit the website are aware, the Quick Quotes section is the real core of this business and is what drives the visitors to our website. In the light of Carole’s decision we have reviewed our editorial requirements and feel that the Quick Quotes service no longer needs such a degree of editorial support. We will no longer publish the features, interviews and top ten tips but we will continue to publish news – so please do continue to send your press releases to editor@promotional-merchandise.org.uk. We are also going to continue publishing a monthly editorial to keep you abreast of our news.

This brings me to our second piece of news: As already mentioned, the Quick Quotes section on the site is the heart of the website and in recent months it has seen incredible growth. Since March of this year we have been receiving and verifying record numbers of leads each month. In order to keep providing the fast and efficient service our suppliers are used to, we have now taken on an admin assistant (Emma Ronzales) to help our team with the verification of the leads. We are very pleased to welcome Emma to the team and look forward to working with her.
